🌱 Stable Friendships: April's Blossoming News!

Hello !

A heartfelt thank you for embracing this journey with us. Here's to a spring of growth, healing, and joyful Friendships!

Spring Sessions Partnered with Access Equestrian!

We're excited to share that this spring, our therapy sessions will unfold at the picturesque Access Equestrian. Spanning over 20 acres, this venue isn't just about the majestic horses; it's a lively community with goats, chickens, and three beloved barn cats. This new backdrop offers a unique blend of nature and nurture, perfect for our sessions. It's a vibrant start to the season, promising memorable experiences for everyone involved. If you haven’t been to Access Equestrian yet, we offer you a warm invitation!

Meet Brett

In June 2023, Brett joined our team, predating even the establishment of Stable Friendships Foundation, and instantly became a beacon of hope for what lay ahead. His remarkable dedication in PT & OT sessions with us and intensive therapy at Smile Therapy for Kids in Ontario has been nothing short of inspiring.  Let's rally around Brett, cheering for his achievements and the steps we are taking together. Brett, we're with you every step of the way!

Spreading the Word!

This spring, the Stable Friendships team has  been speaking everywhere—PACE University, the American Hippotherapy Association Conference, PATH International Conference, and Summit for Educational Professionals—sharing our passion for hippotherapy, equine welfare, and nature-based therapy. It is part of our mission to help advance the field of equine partnered therapies.

Is there a community or event you think we should visit? Something we’ve missed? Email us your suggestions!

Pace Occupational Therapy Students

Stable Friendships warmly welcomed Christina and Jessica, our first two occupational therapy (OT) students from PACE University. Over a transformative six weeks, they immersed themselves deeply in every facet of therapy, providing  support to families and fostering  collaborations. We're incredibly grateful for their dedication and enthusiasm. Christina and Jessica, thank you for being such an integral part of our journey.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for Joining us on our Journey of improving the lives of humans and horses  through friendship. WE are so grateful to have you as part of the community.
